What is the digital menu board and why we need it?


A digital menu board is an electronic display that showcases a restaurant's menu items, prices, and promotions using digital screens instead of static, printed boards. They are used by quick-service restaurants, coffee shops, and other food service businesses to enhance customer experience, boost sales, and streamline operations

How they work

A digital menu board system consists of three main components: 

Hardware: This includes the display screens, which can be standard TVs or specialized commercial-grade monitors, and a media player that connects to the screen.
  • Software: A content management system (CMS) allows for the design and remote management of the menu content.
  • Internet Connection: This allows for seamless, real-time updates to the menu and promotions from anywhere.

He*tea · China

In 2025, we entered into a strategic partnership with He*tea · China. Moving forward, all its nationwide outlets will uniformly adopt Qtenboard digital menu displays, ranging from 21.5 to 55 inches. Advertising and menu content will be centrally managed through our CMS system.

Through this partnership, we addressed the following pain points for our client:

Certain products on the market exhibit issues such as screen yellowing, dead pixels, and inadequate heat dissipation after approximately two years of use, compromising the user experience. 
Qtenboard products undergo rigorous quality control and factory testing, achieving an average lifespan of 3–5 years, thereby effectively extending the device's value cycle.

Certain manufacturers exhibit deficiencies in after-sales support, lacking prompt response mechanisms. 
Qtenboard, however, commits to ensuring clients can contact sales personnel, technical teams, or even management at any time, guaranteeing swift issue resolution.
